Steve Harvey

President

Steve Harvey was appointed as the General Aviation Council of Hawaii (GACH) President in January of 2026, succeeding Pat MacNamee. Steve is currently a Captain on the Boeing 737 for United Airlines and continues to serve in the United States Air Force Reserves as a Non-Kinetics Fires Chief at USINDOPACOM in Honolulu, Hawaii. Steve has 26 years of experience flying both civilian and military aircraft around the world, earning his private, commercial, instrument, multiengine, glider, and flight instructor ratings while in high school and college. In his spare time, he enjoys flying both his Aviat A-1B Husky and a Pitts S-2B around the Hawaiian Islands. Steve is type-rated on the B-737, A-330, E-170, and BE-300. Steve has also flown the T-6, T-38, F-16, and MC-12W.

Annie Domko

Vice President

Annie Domko was appointed as the General Aviation Council of Hawaii (GACH) Vice President in June of 2025. Annie is currently a First Officer on the mighty Boeing 717 for Hawaiian Airlines and continues to serve in the United States Navy Reserves flying the C-40A until she retires in early summer 2026. Annie has 27 years of flying experience in both civilian and military aircraft, earning most of her pilot certificates in college through Purdue University (Boiler up!), with some fun ones added on later in life. In her spare time, she enjoys being at home with her family and enjoying life here in the islands. Annie is type-rated on the B-737, DC-9, G-IV, and experimental aircraft Hunter. She has also flown the T-34B, T-45A, and F/A-18A-F.

Tessa Coulter

Director of Outreach and Engagement

Tessa Coulter is a commercial pilot based out of OGG Maui. She is the owner of a yellow 1968 Cessna 150. As the founder of Little Yellow Plane 501(c)(3) and a member of several aviation nonprofits, she brings experience in nonprofit marketing, community engagement, and fundraising. As Director of Outreach and Community Engagement, her focus is on building the GA community across the state and creating a strong member community.

Chris Petrides

Finance Chair

Christopher graduated from U.C. Berkeley with a degree in Political Economics with a concentration in Finance. He was appointed as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the General Aviation Council of Hawaii (GACH) in February 2026. Christopher holds a Commercial Pilot licence and is working towards his flight instructor ratings. Christopher has been actively flying for 15 years, having started on his 8th birthday with his father in a Super DC-3 and has had a passion for it since.

William Simmons brings a unique blend of skills and expertise to the General Aviation Council of Hawaii, with a strong background in computer science and a commercial pilot certificate. He is dedicated to supporting the growth and development of general aviation in Hawaii. As a member of the council, William has a deep passion for aviation and a keen eye for innovation. With a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit, he is well-equipped to drive positive change and advance the interests of Hawaiian aviation. As a seasoned web developer, William is committed to creating accessible and user-friendly digital platforms that showcase the council's mission and support its efforts to serve the community.
