Our Purpose

A voice for Hawaiʻi's general aviation community.

GACH's purpose is to further aviation safety, represent the general aviation community in legislative issues, help facilitate education, and foster growth within the Hawaiʻi general aviation community.

GACH is open to aviators from Hawaiʻi who are Federal Aviation Regulated Part 91, 135, or 141 operators; student pilots; sport pilots; recreational pilots; private pilots; commercial pilots; air transport pilots; certified flight instructors; and people who support aviation in Hawaiʻi.

GACH is active across all islands for people who want their voice heard, want aviation safety improved, want people educated about Hawaiʻi aviation, and want Hawaiʻi aviation to grow.

Our members are made up of pilots, both commercial and private, and aviation enthusiasts who actively support and look to improve Hawaiʻi's general aviation community through a spirit of collaboration and mutual respect.

The organization includes people who fly airplanes, rotorcraft, gliders, lighter-than-air aircraft, power parachutes, weight-shift-control aircraft, and power-lift aircraft.
